Business cards are on the way.

I have heard people say business cards are outdated, no one uses them, and no one keeps up with them after you give them out. Social media is the only way to advertise.

Well in this business of scouting out multiple sources of antique and vintage finds, you have a lot of face to face conversations with people who have the same love for the older things and ways, and don't "do social media".

Just the other day as I was picking up some pieces of furniture I met a lady who is in the same business as me. As we talked and she handed me her business card so we could collaborate ideas and experiences, it just felt right. So I learned from her and decided I needed some of my own!

Not only has my waiting list kept me busy with blessings, I have also been moving my shop to a new bigger location! I am getting settled in and with my new set up am able to increase efficiency! Thank you for your support!

These are 3 pieces BEFORE their transformation that will be auctioned off to benefit Wiregrass Habitat for Humamity in March! I will post the AFTER pics before the event! PM if you are interested in any of these pieces.

To close out 2025, I want to say thank you for the support I have received so far! This time last year I was hoping for people to give me a chance to transform or restore vintage and antique pieces, and now I have a waiting list on commission pieces and have filled a storage unit up with projects to work on!
This time last year I was working out of a storage closet in my carport, now I have a small shop that I've already outgrown.

Looking to 2026, I have some big ideas and I am moving ahead with faith and plans to make them happen! My prayer through growth is to let the Lord guide me and be able to use it for the glory of Him and His kingdom. I have already been blessed to connect with people through this and want to see that continue.

Stay tuned for what's to come in 2026!
And help me grow by liking and sharing this page and posts!

Story time!

When my mama and daddy got married back in 1973 they got 2 beautiful hurricane lamps that scream 1973! 😄

Throughout the years with all of us wild children, we broke them both. So in the 90s mama got a new color, blue, hurricane lamps. She bought 4 and is now down to one, because just like the first 2 they fell victim to kids throwing stuff, rough housing, and whatever other crazy happens!

2 years ago I started looking for the 1973 hurricane lamps hoping to find one for my mama. They are extremely hard to find and when you do they arent cheap and very expensive to ship!!

Well right at Christmas I found one of the blue designs she had. I really wanted to find the original but had given up being able to find one. Yesterday morning as I was getting ready to search the address, which was 90 miles away, to head to pick up the blue one, the first posting in Facebook Marketplace was THE lamp!! The 1973 hurricane lamp in the same design, PERFECT CONDITION! So I quickly changed my plans!

8 hours in the car all to give the gift of nostalgia!

When Mama saw the lamp all lit up bright I think it brought back a lot of memories! I am not the greatest gift giver so to see her so happy with it brought me joy! Worth every mile!

This is a wonderdul representation of how I decided on the name Forget Me Nots. Sometimes in trying to have the newest trends we forget just how having a piece of the past can make us feel.
