Hello! It’s been a while since I had time to share on here, I know… sorry! But here is a “When you live in a rural community” piece… It’s a saddle display stand! This repeat customer called with an idea for her late Dad’s saddle. She saw something like it online. Pete copied it just by looking at a picture, of course and voila! We plan to build and sell more. Another fabulous repeat customer of ours that owns a petting zoo is letting us use a saddle and her property to do a photo shoot this Friday… can’t wait! ❤. Not that the customer’s photo with the pink troll looking over wouldn’t be good to use. lol

Good morning! First order of business… Go Birds!🦅 I am so homesick and missing my South Jersey/Philadelphia way more than usual! Ok… that’s done. Now I need to tell you about a recent project I took on here in Melrose Florida. I helped a woman save her grandmother’s kitchen cabinets so she can maintain as much of the original lake house as possible. They were old, musty, broken and all in all in pretty bad shape. However, after some repairs, stripping, sanding, staining and sealing… they are actually beautiful again and ready to hang for many years to come! Lots of elbow grease, time and love paid off 🙂

Happy New Year! 2024 ended for us in a way we never expected. One request after another came in for unique pieces. We had no time for our standard pieces that we have been doing, like coffee bars and console tables. We were totally out of our comfort zone when we took on these projects, but the end results were worth the challenge. Each person that reached out to us with ideas they had, trusted us to make their thoughts come to life. One customer had a beloved chair that was going to cost her a small fortune to cane. We simply made a whole new solid wood seat and stripped and stained the chair to match the new wood. Another wanted a more attractive way to have their dog crates in their home office. We built them solid wood sturdy covers that are attractive and can now offer space to use on top. We also helped another customer make her pantry more attractive by building and staining wood sleeves to slide over the white wire racks. It’s amazing how it totally changes the look! We built a custom size cabinet on wheels for another customer, so their home video surveillance area would be more attractive and practical and also made them a cute toilet paper holder!lol The biggest challenge by far was a credenza cabinet with a slide out dining table that had to be precisely built to fit inside a RV motor home! It truly turned out amazing! I managed to squeeze in my own request and got my husband to build me a wood tree for our front window. I liked it so much, we made a couple for friends. lol We currently are working on a drop out trash can cabinet with shelves on the side… and I will be taking on a sentimental job for a customer. She is making over her grandmother’s old lake house and wants to keep as much of the original charm as possible. So I’m helping her by stripping and staining the solid wood kitchen cabinets that have been there for years! Should be fun 🙂. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and look forward to what 2025 has to offer!

Sometimes the basic simple pieces are even stunning. The customer wanted a piece to sit on to put on/take off shoes that has a place to store the shoes as well…. I love how this bench turned out!

Hello Friends! As always, I apologize for not getting on here often enough to post updates. Doing this all with just the 2 of us, is crazy most of the time... and we love crazy and are grateful! Anyway... we will be having our 2nd annual open house this coming weekend the 28th and 29th of September rain or shine (however a tropical storm/hurricane is a little more than rain so we will keep you posted and decide by Friday what to do). We will be here from 11am to 3pm both days. We have several pieces available for cash and carry and lots of samples of our work for you to see in person. I'm attaching some highlight pictures of works we have done to showcase our talent. All items shown have been sold already, but we will will gladly build and finish to meet your needs!

Hello Friends and Happy Summer! I hope all is well with you. We have been super busy with custom orders, but I wanted to take a moment to share (and brag about) these stunning coastal vibe pieces we did recently. We’re not just traditional console tables and coffee bars… This massive cabinet with refrigerator cubby and top shelf as well as the amazing surfboard top bar table were designed by a customer and brought to life by us. They look perfect on their Florida lanai. We were able to make their dream pieces for a fraction of the price wanted by the retail store and they are solid wood… not particle board! Please keep us in mind if you see something out there that you think is too expensive or not worth the price for inferior materials. I’m sure we can make it better for less! Thanks and Happy 4th of July!

Hello! I finally have a moment to make this post. Most of you know that “this” all began with me making over vintage pieces of furniture, literally one piece at a time. Things changed when we moved to Florida to help our daughter with her fixer upper new old home. Pete began building new solid wood pieces and I hand finished them. We enjoy working together and have created many beautiful pieces, but my passion will always be transforming an old piece and giving it a new life. Well… I have stumbled onto a new path, where our worlds collide. Some old furniture will never have a perfect top no matter how much chalk paint magic is applied. The particleboard veneer just is not gonna cooperate. That was the case with a recent piece I was asked to make over. It was a nice solid piece, but the top needed help. I was looking at it in my paint studio and it was sitting right next to a new unfinished console table that Pete had just built. A lightbulb went off! Pete could build me a new solid wood top and mount it on the newly painted and slightly distressed entry table I just made over. I thought with a stained real wood top, it would be stunning… and I was right! I so look forward to doing this on many more old pieces. The possibilities are endless! Dressers, end tables, coffee tables, buffet servers etc etc. Such an amazing way to really breathe new life into an old piece. I hope you like it!

I found this vintage plant stand at a local thrift store and just couldn’t leaf it there! I’m thinking a rub to liven up the oak tone spindles and a bright white water proof gloss on the shelves… With a bunch of greenery on it, it will be stunning! Stay tuned for the end result! ❤
