DESSEC.com DESSEC builds businesses. Our primary effort has been to create a mobile game brand! We support other businesses too, let us support yours! is. At DESSEC, Inc.

Welcome to the DESSEC, Inc! I’m sure you’re curious what DESSEC, Inc. Well, clearly it is not the most obviously glamorous name but shiny nameplates aren’t what’s important. Like our name, our mission is simple: build great business via teams focused on bringing the most value to the most stakeholders. Our goal is to build small companies and brands that take a more balanced approach toward manage

ment, partnerships, and employee relationships than most large companies and many modern startups. We embrace Stakeholder Theory, Social Responsibility, and Empowered Employees not because they are cool, or trendy, but because we think it’s a better way to do business. we strive to add value in any way we can. We are not interested in the fast win for the few; we build for the long-term value which brings value to all, expands the economy, and seeds the 100 year business. So what makes me qualified to build a business like this? In addition to founding DESSEC, Inc., I have an MBA from the Darden School of Business, have founded and run a consulting company, led multiple teams domestically and internationally at Fortune 100 companies, served on the boards of directors of community development organizations, and worked as a crisis intervention volunteer and trainer. Each of these experiences provide a valuable basis for the work I’ve started at DESSEC. Though launching and leading great brands and businesses is our core mission, we also do consult on projects that pique our interest. If you have a project you’re tying to get off the ground let us know. If we are a good match we’ll be diligent in helping you directly or assisting you in finding the right resources and people to complete your project. Right now we are working on several startups still in the stealth mode stage. We are looking forward to their public launches at which point you will see the announcement here. There are several ways you can follow our progress: join our email list, share our page, or Twitter. We welcome feedback and would love to speak with you about your projects. Cheers! Dale Strickler,
Founder DESSEC.com

Business and Mindfulness Lately we’ve been thinking about mindfulness in business. We believe in Wyatt Earp’s statement that we must “learn to be slow in a hurry”. We know the importance of sitting still and thinking – both in life and in business. Apparently, the Harvard Business Review agrees. Take a look at this interesting article they posted on mindfulness at three big businesses. [ 272 more words. ]
