Every repair possesses unique challenges. I particularly liked this one. A Carolina skiff ran aground and ripped a hole in the keel. Step one:grind away damaged fiberglass. Step two: use a ball router to remove wet foam. Step three: Use a heat gun to ensure complete dryness. step three: replace said foam with two part expansion foam. Normally gravity is used to assist placement of this style of foam, Where there is a will there’s a way!

Massive damage and delaminatuon on the hull. After some support work inside, I’ve spent the last two days on my back, running an angle grinder and diamond saw on the outside of the hull, probably 3 more days to go, at least. No need to go to the gym this week!

It's been a busy couple of months for me, getting folks ready to hit the water in spring. I just got the contract to do the structural repairs on this 60' Sea Ray. The hull underneath the engines is gone, and the stress put on the cleats from trying to raise it while filled with water is another issue all together. Lets get to work!!!

A couple of good cracks on each rail but some water in the land that deck for the entire standing area. I hate it when that happens!The sanded look is it possible to match so I don't even try anymore. Fresh coat of Onit Pro and she's ready for the water!

Picked UP this fairly new preproduction 404 Go Go SUP at a race this past weekend. The crack on the rail was poorly sealed, letting in water and leading to a Delam of the standing area.

Before and after. The SIC boards are tough, but not indestructible. Awlgrip is cured, hull was buffed, then a coat of Onit-Pro was added.

Before and after. An outrigger canoe skeg, low tide, and a dredge pipe=oops. Filled, faired, then Reinforced with a layer of carbon. Primer, base coat and clear coat. tomorrow I'll blend the repair, try to find an 8" drill bit for the rudder shaft and she'll be ready for the water!

Replacing the floor of an abused anchor locker. Lots of damage to the inside hull as well. Pretty straightforward.
