I just finished this storage armoire and I must say I’m thrilled with the end result! This piece was so outdated and unloved and heading towards the curb until I said NO STOP! I’ll take her!! 😉….. and so I began! I started with an old world finish that would compliment the modern elements of this piece. The color is a custom blend of grays, beige, and off white and added platinum foiling for a bit of pop against the old world finish! What do you think?

One of my favorite pieces I started prior to my chemotherapy, immunology, and radiation treatments, however, she still needs her finishing touches! Because I’m starting to feel stronger, I will “hopefully” soon finish this beauty!!! I’ll post her before pictures just to see how far she’s come in her transformation ❤️

Hello everyone!

As most of you know, juggling between mastering your social media accounts, being a creative, building your website, editing pictures and videos, launching an Etsy store, writing content, blogging, shipping large pieces of furniture across the US and I’m sure I’ve forgotten something else here, but this all has proven confusing and quite frankly, difficult at times. Mainly the marketing part of this, at least compared to marketing 10 years ago😵‍💫

FB, for me, poses the most confusing especially when switching between the different accounts and forgetting which one you’re in! Also, I may have 3 accounts on FB when I thought I just made a business account page but ended up with a Commerce page… is that the same thing?

As far as marketing, I’ve always used some form of social media to promote and market my consulting business. But back then (10 years ago) the marketing platforms seemed straightforward and simple. Like LinkedIn and Xing, etc. What happened??!! Is it just me or the vast technology changes? Anyway, I feel lost out here trying to get a grasp on todays Social Media marketing. Any tips or advise is always welcomed here!!

This is a learning curve for me but I know the importance social media offers small businesses like mine and the value it affords.

So for now, you may see a double or triple post as I learn my way around.🤭

I’d like to say in closing, my objective is to hopefully inspire you and show you that anyone can create by reusing pieces whether furniture or decor, bringing them up to date or to your liking in what you already have or purchase from a second hand store while decreasing the vast items that’s discarded in our landfills. ♻️

I believe with simple “how to” tutorials, which I’m working on, that you too can create beauty from not so beautiful pieces 😉

So next time when looking around your home and see mismatched furniture pieces and outdated accessories, just know they’re waiting for a new breath of life that YOU can create and make beautiful, cohesive pieces by creating a comfortable space at home to enjoy and relax in.
