My name is unusual for a woman but I was born in Paris, France where it's actually a common name for women. I have two daughters, three grandchildren and a German Shepherd. I love color, I love art, I love home decor and I love furniture. I paint walls, floors, fabric and furniture. If it doesn't move, it's fair game. I love to find old, unloved, unused pieces of furniture and make them beautiful
and useful again but I could not do it without my friend, Tom Mucherino, a brilliant carpenter, who can fix or build anything. He makes sure all the furniture I find is repaired, solid and ready for me to paint. He also hauls it for me and helps me to deliver sold pieces. Before you get rid of your grandmothers old furniture, try to envision how beautiful it can be, restored and repainted. There's something about having a piece of furniture with history, especially if that history is your family history.
