We tried all of the DIY solutions, pressure washing, and scrubbing with Dawn. Literally nothing worked. We were always left with little pockets of mildew and green algae on our white Adirondacks, fences and stone walkways. I asked the attendants at Chatham Bars Inn and The Breakers pool and they both used this method and the same cleaner.

Comment CLEAN for the cleaner. Ps. This sold out 3 times last time I shared it so grab it while you can 😅.

Cleaning method:
- Spray 30 second clean on the surfaces and let sit for 3 mins.
- Hose off with a strong hose nozzle and wipe down with a wet cloth to get in the crevices.
Note: If you’re starting out with a really dirty area, you’ll have to go through this process a couple times.

Beauty. It’s something that has slowly been degraded over the last 100 years, replaced by quick fixes and imitations. Our buildings have no character, our faces have no wrinkles and our clothes disintegrate after 5 washes. For years I have thought about the importance of beauty in our society, but have been too scared to talk about it for fear of being accused of misplace priorities.

I have now changed my mind.

Beauty was created by God and therefore we are free to, and dare I say compelled to, celebrate it, enjoy it, and discuss its importance. Next week I will host a very simple study on the origins of beauty, the purpose of it according to the Bible, and practical ways to celebrate beauty in your home. You only need a Bible. I once heard a story about the Titanic that completely changed the way I approached telling people about my faith. The story goes that people were getting in a lifeboat while the Titanic was sinking and paddled away with a half filled boat while people drowned all around them. The occupants of the boat started freezing to death in the cold night air before a rescue boat could come. If they had brought more people into the boat, the extra bodies would have given them warmth until they were rescued.

Our culture wants to allow you to drown in your own messed up way of thinking, calling it love and acceptance. This is not the way. Jesus gave us His Word and the fellowship of His people to guide us through this messy life. We know from the Bible that Jesus is the only way to be rescued.

There is no amount of self reflecting yoga or daily journaling that can fix you.
