What will this industry look like in 10-15 years when Private Equity inevitably owns most marinas in coastal neighborhoods? I think this is an important question to ask because they are destroying our industry and pricing out bread and butter clients. Eventually the boomers will be too old to boat. People in their 30s cant afford a 3 bedroom 1970s house at $1M. Add AI to the picture and future jobs are disappearing. How will future generations afford boats when slips are $250-350/foot?

How much valve lift can I run❓

Most people think lift is limited by the camshaft design alone.

The truth is, the camshaft is just one part of the equation.

👉 Valve lift is the result of the entire valvetrain system working together—cam core design, lobe design, lifter travel range, rocker ratio, spring capability, retainer-to-seal clearance, and even the geometry of the valvetrain system all play a part.

Then there is the question: how much lift should you run?
