I was finishing up with some yard work and I noticed a rather beautiful moonrise, so what else do I do but grab my camera. I had the idea to maybe see if I could do a year long series with each month's full moon. I'll have to set my calendar.

Made another trip out with some friends to see the Salt River Horses. It was a lovely experience. Even took some long exposures as "ghost" photos.

Did a shoot for some friends. While setting up and testing my lighting I got this one and it reminded me of what you would see in a band's CD cover. Just a teaser for the photos to come.

Spent a night up on Mingus Mountain and was able to get some Milky Way photos with a storm rolling in over Prescott.

We made a drive up to Bartlett lake for some scouting and were surprised at what we found. Now I'll admit, this may be old news to some, but there is some cool stuff up there. The Yellow Cliffs, the Dam itself (totally looks like a Bond villain hideout), and the Riverside Campground. We're going back for sure.

We made the drive up to Cottonwood today to deliver some wood prints to Rare Desert Trading Company in Cottonwood. I'm looking forward to the relationship with Todd and Anna. We're already coming up with collaborative ideas for some projects.
