Happy Fall 🍂 As you incorporate luxurious leather pieces into your designs, understanding how to maintain beauty and durability through the changing seasons is crucial! Leather, a natural and breathable material, reacts to environmental changes. As temperatures drop and indoor heating systems kick in, the air becomes drier, which can affect leather’s moisture content. • Cleaning: Regular cleaning is paramount. Dust leather furniture weekly with a soft cloth and use a vacuum with a brush attachment for crevices. For deeper cleans, we recommend Leather Masters cleaner and conditioner. use a cleaner as needed, or immediately after any spills.
• Conditioning: Conditioning leather furniture a few times a year is essential to prevent cracking and keep it soft. We Recommend Leather Masters cleaner and Conditioner, sold in our showroom. Place leather furniture away from direct heat sources such as radiators and away from windows where direct sunlight can fade and dry out the leather. Maintaining a consistent indoor humidity level between 40% and 50% can prevent the leather from becoming too dry or too moist.
