We have prayed for rain a lot and we got it! When we moved here we had flooding in the yard and had to lay down plywood to unload the pods but as we got into summer and the beginning of this year, we went into extreme drought, no rain at all. Fires and our lakes and ponds dropping. We started getting rain in April and the burn ban is gone and our pond has gone up quite a bit, Thank you Lord! We complained about all the flooding in the yard last year, we are thankful for it now.

Thought I would share some of my day lilies, some I bought at the last year. Can't believe the 2026 festival is tomorrow. We had only been here since the end of February and some of our kids and grands came for the weekend. ❤️ # perennials

One of our guess rooms in our downsized house. We sold our adorable vintage twin beds to make room for queen beds and I was pleasantly surprised that they fit in this small room, it's right But it works. But we needed sleeping for our family. Anyway I love the cottage look with vintage items.
