Just picked up the full matching set to the piece I recently finished for a client and somehow scored it for FREE.
The catch? Let’s just say the pickup location in Hagerstown had me questioning all my life choices for a minute 😂

But honestly… totally worth it.

Just finished up this moody green vintage hutch makeover and I’m honestly obsessed with how rich and cozy this one turned out. The floral wallpaper, warm wood shelves, and antique brass details completely transformed this piece into something that feels straight out of an English cottage.

Not every project is a “wow” piece… and this one definitely kept me humble 😂

Simple nightstands aren’t exactly my favorite. I like a little drama, a little wow factor, but hey, not every piece needs a full personality makeover.

And let’s be honest… finding an XL nightstand like this? Way harder than it should be.

Sometimes it’s just about a clean, classic refresh and getting it ready for its next home.

This one’s a little extra special 🥰

My daughter and I teamed up to bring this French provincial dresser back to life for her new place, and I’m not gonna lie… this one hit different. There’s something about working side by side, picking colors together, and watching her vision come to life that makes all the sanding, painting, and “figuring it out as we go” completely worth it.

We kept the classic curves but gave it a fresh, updated feel, something that still honors its character but fits her space perfectly. It’s soft, a little moody, and full of personality… kinda like her 😊

These are the projects I’ll always remember.

Now it gets to be part of her everyday life, and that’s the best part of all.
Now the fun part, styling + decorating. She’s going for Victorian goth + Im here for it!

This piece was a little different for me.

Not because of the color or the design… but because of the story behind it.

It was hand built by her dad made with love, not perfection. And when I first started working on it, I caught myself wanting to fix every uneven line, every small flaw, every “imperfection.”

But the truth is… those details are the story.

The slight variations, the character in the wood, the places where it’s not perfectly symmetrical, that’s what makes it his. That’s what makes it meaningful.

So instead of over-correcting it, I chose to honor it.

I cleaned it up, protected it, and gave it a fresh new life… without taking away the heart that was already there.

Sometimes the goal isn’t perfection.
Sometimes it’s preserving what matters most. 🤍

And this one… this one mattered.

Gave this Pottery Barn sofa a solid second life 🙌

This one wasn’t about a full makeover, it was about bringing the structure back where it should be. I replaced the feet and reinforced the base to make it sturdy, level, and ready for many more years of use.

Sometimes it’s not just about how a piece looks, it’s about making it last again. And that’s exactly what this one needed.

Quality furniture is worth saving!

This piece really put me through it… but WOW was it worth it.

Let me tell you… this one had character from day one.

Doors that wouldn’t behave (rebuilt 4x 🙃), newly built base, a mid-project color switch, uneven hardware surprises… and a few real-life curveballs thrown in for good measure.

BUT, an incredibly patient client + a whole lot of persistence = this beauty.

This one taught me A LOT… and also confirmed I’m ready for a few “easy” pieces next 😂

Honestly? Worth every headache.

She will be heading home to her owner this week and I couldn’t love the final result more.
