Bloom Where You Are Planted Unique keepsakes designed out of cherished garments. Pillows, blankets, sling purses, teddy bears and puppy dogs are just examples of what can be created.

The Name of the company was inspired by all that life throws at a person. We must learn to take the best of a situation and Bloom no matter where we are at in life. Each design represents that statement. The Memory Pillows may remind us of a pet or person who is gone, far away, or possibly a time or place in their life. Life doesn't stand still, and we must bloom in the current situation we are in

. These pillows help people do just that. Or it reminds them of a time when they did bloom, like an old sports jersey or even a wedding dress. Prices of pillows are $30 and up depending on style and embroidery design. I like to meet with person and discuss exactly what they envision and then quote them price depending on the custom design. For example pillows with collars typically $40-$45. Pillows with just pockets typically are $30-$35. Price really depends on the amount of embroidery added from there. Price for Blankets, Teddy Bears, etc. will be added as samples are done and pictures added

It doesn't have to be a certain article of clothing. I went to school for Fashion design, so I can get pretty creative and make something out of any type of garment. Pet beds or blankets, make great pillow keepsakes with name of pet placed on the pillow. The pet's collar can also be attached to the pillow. A pillow to remember a horse can be made out of a saddle blanket. Whatever the item may be we can possible work with it to create some sort of lasting keepsake for you.

Follow up on the wedding dress pillows. One, a surprise for the mom made out if the bodice of her dress. The width of the pillow was the width of her waist! The other 2 pillows were made for her two daughters from the back of the dress. One getting the left side and the other the right.

Customer had tried to find someone to make something out of her mom's dress. Even asked the teachers who taught design class at her husband school. They wouldn't touch it! I was just as thrilled that she found me as she was! Was great working and designing with bridal fabrics again!

Tooth fairy pillow for a special little girl is getting mailed out tomorrow!

Complete with fairy sized book and matching coin purse for parents to store dollar bills in for last minute surprises. They will always be ready and can use purse to store teeth in. Then when child gets older, can store first tooth in pillow and allow teenager to use coin purse for earphone, change, etc. Have a keepsake from their childhood.

This was a lot of fun! Cut the zipper out of dress and turned it into a coin purse using lace from the back of the dress...
