Good morning. We hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. This starts our preparations for the fall holiday events. We will start packing away most all of our inventory to take to the events. If you’ve been thinking of one of our rolling pins or cutting boards, grab one before we take the individual pins off our website. After the listings are off the website, we will still have pins and boards available, but we will send the first available.

Why do we recommend you store your cutting boards on their side? This is a piece that was trimmed off a cutting board to square it up. It was flat. We had a passing shower and this is what happened when it dried. This is an exaggeration of what will likely happen to your board, but this is how your board will want to react when it dries.

We acquired a new to us clamp rack earlier this year. Finally had the opportunity to load up a small section of it with boards today. Can’t wait to see the entire rack full of boards.

It didn’t go with out a small accident. A pipe used to tighten the clamps slipped off and caught me on the side of the head. At least I have a new pair of glasses now.
