• Sustainability – Velocitylok® Belts are lifetime apparel. Belt materials are made to be weather proof (i.e water, sweat, mold, mildew ingress resistant.) Nylon webbings are either resin impregnated, aka. SCUBA, or thermoplastic overmolded (i.e, our “Scout” belts with leather like look). Velocitylok® Buckle system is designed for zero wear under continuous use. Product is in total contrast with “throwaway” fashion regular use belts (most use cheap bonded scraps of leather glued together). These throwaway design fashion belts contribute to the growing apparel waste pollution of the planet.

• Comfort – Velocitylok® Belts use extra stiff 2-ply webbing. Our belt materials are often 10X stiffer than typical department belts, which means belt load is spread out over a greater area. This lower pressure provides improved comfort feel, unlike flimsy belts that tend to have a pinch feel when tightened.

For those of you who are wondering what the Level 2 retention on our HD MAX belts looks like. Here's a picture of some of our pre-dyed retention tabs. They lock into the squares in the belt tab and prevent any release of the buckle without using two hands. This is usually just a requirement for specific LE departments but anyone can rock the extra retention!
