I finished 2 pens this morning for 2 special friends who are big Boston Red Sox fans. The wood used on both came from actual Fenway Park stadium seats supplied by Stadium Blanks & Hardin Penworks. Hardware for the pens are from Turners Warehouse and are Ares kits by Taylors Mirfield in the UK. I usually try and not make my pens so rotund but in order to preserve the actual paint on the seats I made an exception with these to preserve the historic significance of the wood.

My grandson, Ethan, is obsessed with rockets and space shuttles and when my Daughter, Caitlin Alexander saw that Michael at HardinPenworks.com and Stadium Blanks was offering pen blanks with actual pieces of the Atlantis space shuttle (Ethan's Favorite) embedded in the cast resin blanks she had to have one ans ask me to make her a pen. We chose the Lincoln Jr. kit from Turners Warehouse in the Gunmetal finish and this is how it turned out. Michael has blanks available for 4 different shuttles in both 2 piece and single piece blanks that come with a Certificate of Authentication. If anyone is interested in having one made, please contact me and own a piece of American History.
