Mariana is a mixed media artist, creating her pieces base on the observation of nature. Texture, colors, unimaginable materials!

Yextute and bright colors are what define her work, using a wood burner and acrylic paint. For the past 26 years those three words describe my work. It fascinates me to explore how non- traditional art materials can be used to create my art pieces; nature allows me to incorporate all kinds of materials. I was in Arlington VA this past weekend. Thanks to my daughter Sophia who came to help set up and came back Sunday with lunch !! Sorry to all the Art Friends that I never found their booth or never stop by to say Hi !! Had a great weekend my neighbors at this shows were an awesome group !! Dinner with great friend !! Now get ready for Tephra in 2 weeks !!

If you see me wearing a wrist brace or making weird stretches with my right arm is because my hand has been many hours doing the same movement ! Like today I been wood-burning for about 7 hrs straight ! Art for me is lots of love, hand stiffness and usually back pain !! 😂😂
