I have come to a very very tough but bitter sweet decision that I can't keep up with YouTube anymore. I am not calling it quits for good but I need to accept that I can't keep up with posting once a week. People have been noticing already so I figured it was time to post about it. I also think I need to say this so I fully accept it haha

The simple reason is time, I don't have enough. Plane Wellness has taken off so well and so fast that I have been spending 12+ hours a day on the computer (full time job and PW work). Any amount of shop time I've gotten has been spent recording and editing as much content as I can so I can schedule out videos to keep up with the channel. I can't keep pushing myself like this and the Plane Wellness mission is more important to me than my personal gain.

The other reason is I NEED shop time. Its my break from the world. With all the computer time and stress of my full time job and sometimes the stress of Plane Wellness work I need that time more than ever and lately the little shop time i get has only been making content. So this is also for my personal sanity lol

I wanted to make a video for you all about this but I found it way more difficult than I thought it would be. I'm going to miss making videos and interacting with you all in the comments as much as I have since Dec. 2022. I've invested alot of time and money into the channel and many of you have invested in me. So it feels like a loss and like I am closing a door I fought so hard to open. But again this is bitter sweet because the PW mission is working and advancing!!

Thank you all for your support over the years! I hope that once I leave my full time job I'll have more time to make videos but for now my goal is to post about 1 video a month. I will give myself grace if that doesn't happen because the Plane Wellness mission and my sanity has to take priority. :D

Had an AMAZING! Trip to the PATINA show this past weekend! It was a great chance to meet people and geek out over tools! I cant make YouTube videos on my personal channel when I go on Plane Wellness trips so this post will serve as the video hahah

On a note for Plane Wellness, it was a fantastic time to network and share the word about our mission and our event! I call it a HUGE success!! (Keep an eye on the Plane Wellness / pages, I am going to post more about this there!)

On a note for my channel, I had a good amount of people introduce themselves and say they watch my channel! It is still surreal to me when this happens and I was honored to meet them!! Great people!!!

On a personal note, it was all around an amazing experience. Meeting people in person you have only talked to online and meeting new people is the best part about these meetings!! We have such an amazing community that I highly recommend getting out to as many meets as you can!!!

On a budget note hahah I spent more than I should have, as it goes at these events. haha BUT I was able to get a saw vise and an adze which are 2 things I wanted but didn't expect to find. Those are what put me over budget but I still got great deals on them and very happy I found them!
-The saw vise is super solid and stable and eventually I am going to be sharpening/repairing saws for Plane Wellness students. The one I currently have flexes and it is small so this will be a huge help in the future!
-The adze, I want to make hand hewn bowls and such so this was on my list. The seller said it was from a maker in England who doesn't make them anymore, if you know the maker let me know! (I will say that I got it for over 1/2 the cost of what a maker made adze costs!)

The next meet I am going to is the MWTCA meet in Erie, PA in early June. I hope to see you there!!!

OH! And Cali did just fine at DayCare while I was gone :D They did St. Patrick day pictures too!!
