I recently got the chance to make this custom for a friend using branches from a family's Christmas tree from this past year that holds special meaning to them and I'm thrilled for them to take a look at it!

I also really like how this turned out and, seeing as how we have an abundance of Christmas trees on our property, am thinking of making this design a permanent addition, yay or nay?

Almost wrapped up with for a while, but here are two more that are now ready and live!

These feature cypress that have very unique character from their life spent around the brackish waters of the coast and feature a slight translucent sea foam green epoxy to help that character stand out!

It’s Christmas week 🎅 and I’m pumped for everyone to be getting their personalized cutting boards!

I’m also kinda excited to work on something other than cutting boards too 😂

It’s epoxy day over here 🙌

I always like to do these in batches if I can, outside of large projects, of course if something goes wrong then I’m screwed on all of them instead of one.

Anyway, my first time with let’s see how it goes on these boards👍

Another day throwing some exotics through the planer for another batch of cutting boards, this time with King on the playlist 🎶

I’m really digging using & as accent pieces for these boards. It’s expensive wood to use in cutting boards, but looks SO good once it’s done. 🤌

Took a break from cutting boards to put a walnut inlay in this beautiful bald cypress cookie 🍪

This step always makes me nervous, but I really love putting them in cause they look so good once they’re done! Also, huge shoutout to all those who don’t have to use sawdust to cover up their chisel mistakes, you’re better than I 🤷‍♂️

That’s a wrap on the walnut coffee table! 💥

Super happy with how this turned out, from the character in the grain to the insect paths left on the live edge, this thing is oozing character and I’m loving it!
