Started some rough lumber milling today. Luckily for me all of the trees, except for the fruiting Pear in the last picture, have already been felled because I think I lost about 8 pounds of water due to the heat. I am looking forward to finishing the slabs so I can start seasoning and drying the lumber. I believe the first 3 pictures are of White Oak, while the middle 2 are of Cedar.

Thanks to a customer that let us use his lake last night, I got to do some fishing with my son and nephew. We all fished some nice size Brim (sp?) and I still blow at fishing.

Blessed and fortunate to be commissioned to build a porch bed swing! I've been wanting to build one since I became aware of them but I couldn't find one that I thought had the details I like. Thanks to inspiration via Google, I designed my own which uses Arts & Crafts, fat dimensions, angles, and radii. This will be under cover and primed and painted so I used regular 2 by pine materials. I will continue to post progress pictures.
