New Betty piece in the works!

Client’s request: baby pink base color with distressing; keep same drawer pulls in white

I noticed old holes from the original hardware that needed to be filled plus the pulls had some chipping of the white paint. I plan to give them a light coat of Country White then age them with black wax then sealed. No more paint flaking off for this Betty in the making!

Their accent piece to go above the refinished dresser is gray. I plan to incorporate touches of pewter gilding wax in order to anchor the two pieces together….stay tuned!

For years I did the wet paper towel trick but this is oh so much better and no water needed! No paper dry out or having lint from said paper towel in the paint.
