At a craft show I was approached by a lovely young lady who had visited Italy 2-3 years prior and had purchased tiles of her family name. She had envisioned what she wanted but couldn’t quite figure out exactly how that would look. After a conversation, she chose Axes & Elbows to commission this sentimental piece for her. I immediately knew this needed olive wood as it is local to Italy and set out to find just the right piece of wood. We think it turned out beautifully!!!
