110 year old Coastal Redwood came in today. Big slabs, anybody? Thanks to .arb for the wood. These logs have some really wild growth patterns. Highly undulating wood in some of these logs. What we’re all about

When a tree comes on hard times, whether from storm damage, insect infestation, or urban development, it is our mission to rescue these logs from becoming firewood, mulch, or some other fate as equally unappreciative of a tree's beauty and value.

Our company offers the option to create beautiful, one of a kind wood slabs from salvaged wood. We have been in the wood chipping and tree trimming industry for over a decade and have time and again seen an opportunity to step in and give wood another chance. We strive to meet our goal of keeping valuable natural resources out of the landfills, burned for firewood or buried. These trees can be "rescued" and given a new life as a stunning counter top, a piece of heirloom furniture or some other wood product. This resource is local, it is sustainable, and it is uniquely beautiful.

We began offering this new service because we've seen a high demand for urban wood salvaging. With the combination of our portable sawmill and 6-inch Vermeer wood chipper, we are able to offer a complete salvaging service; everything from hauling salvaged trees to our site for slabbing, mobile milling onsite, and cleaning up and chipping the left over wood debris.

We are doing new things this year! Including sales of freshly milled "green" slabs. If you have the space and ability to dry these yourself, then you can save a significant amount of money.
