Hey flipping family, 🙌🥳I wanted to share a major listing strategy that I don’t think many flippers realize, we have a massive opportunity to highlight. When we list furniture, we usually focus entirely on aesthetics—the style (MCM, Boho, Traditional), the wood type, or the pretty paint color. But we are completely missing a massive selling point that applies to the general population: the incredible health, eco, and quality benefits of buying restored vintage over brand-new furniture.
Next time you are writing a description for Marketplace, try highlighting these points to attract high-paying buyers who might not care about vintage, but do care about their home environment: Instead of fighting the race to the bottom against cheap, disposable furniture prices, highlighting these facts in your listing changes the narrative. It turns our work into a healthy, high-quality, eco-friendly investment for any home.
*When listing, You can highlight these facts if you have a wooden piece.
-Eco-Friendly / Sustainable Furniture
-Solid Wood (No MDF / No Particle Board)
-Hypoallergenic storage
* Listing Phrase to use:
“Eco-friendly and sustainable. Heirloom quality Solid wood adding character to your space.”
*Listing Phrase: “Eco Friendly Heavy, sturdy heirloom quality built to survive daily family life.”
-Shifting the narrative from just "Hey look, a pretty dresser" to "This is a healthy, chemical-free investment that can help families with children , elderly and anyone with allergies etc. We can justify a higher price point and cut through the lowballers on FBMP.
Have you tried using any quality or health-focused keywords like this in your general listings? Let’s talk in the comments! 🛠️👇
Stay flipping awesome !! 🙌🥳👍
