My dad had his own drywall business, my mom renovates homes, and my grandma had her own floral and ceramic business! I guess you could say that it's in my blood! I went to SIU for interior design/architecture, then moved back to my little home town in Effingham, IL and well, interior design isn't a career that is needed around here. t manager. I do love it, it keeps me failure with the design world even though I'm not the one coming up with ideas! Since I didn't have an outlet for my creativity, I found that I was painting the walls of my house ALL the time and just constantly working on my home. There can only be so much done to a 900 sf home! :) To satisfy my need to create, I started building stuff for friends and family, then decided to try selling to the public. I started out at the local farmers market on Saturday mornings. I met some fantastic folks while I did that, and they encouraged me to try Etsy! Eight months later, I've had over 225 online sales, over one hundred local sales, and it's all just begun! I can't wait to continue to provide you with awesome items!
