Designed and built this sweet media console to house my growing record collection and get my turntable out of its cramped home in the TV stand. Really happy with how this turned out! Construction is all Baltic Birch plywood, stained and finished with French polished shellac. I’d love to build more pieces like this, so please get in touch if you’d like me to build you one!

Finally got an Etsy shop set up! First up for sale are my gorgeous walnut guitar picks. These are the picks I’ve been using almost exclusively for months. They play great, and have a really nice tone.

Hand carved guitar picks in walnut. Available in various shapes and thicknesses (2mm or greater). Pictured are 5mm with sharp tips.

Phone was dead when I started on this one, so I don’t have any before shots, unfortunately. Never seen one quite like this before. An old Ventura V-21. Still has the price tag on it from who knows when. Brass nut, saddle, and bridge pins. This baby is super bright! Did a truss rod adjustment to lower the crazy high action (this was just shy of being a slide guitar.....), dressed and polished the frets, and polished all this great brass hardware.

Got this pretty Martin on the bench today. The binding has detached about halfway around the guitar. Gonna get that put back on and do some general set up work. Should be looking and playing great by he end of the day.

Well, that’s not good....

Hopefully I can get this thing pieced back together OK. At least it’s just the cover plate that’s shattered. Worst case, I’ll just fabricate a new one.

After a brief hiatus to put together my submission for the NPR Tiny Desk Contest, it’s back to the workshop. Got one of my own on the bench today. This is Melanie. She got dropped a little while back and the piezo ribbon slipped a bit. Gonna take her apart and reposition the ribbon, make some minor truss rod adjustments, and level the frets.
