“oh the overwhelming, never ending, reckless love of God”

Depression, anxiety, fear, loss, pain, all of these things are of man. All of these things can be weights on your hearts and mind. All of these things can make your faith wain, or make you feel unloved by the Father, or make you feel unwanted by the Father.

That couldn’t be further from the truth. God’s love for you never ends. It never fails. It is always there. Even when you were in your darkest moment, lost to the world, and dead, God’s love for you was still there.

If you’re going through something today, speaking to myself also, pray about it. Bring it to God. Let his overwhelming, never ending, reckless love fill you with comfort. God is with you. He hasn’t forgotten you. He’s leaves the ninety-nine to come for the one.

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ... No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow — not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below — indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Romans 8:35, 37-39)

Hey everyone, Corey here! I really hope y’all’s week went well!

Over these last couple weeks I’ve had this thought on my mind. What if GOD doesn’t move your mountain? There’s a reason right? Can you say that it is well with your soul?

That is something I struggle with, which, is purely because I am human and imperfect. I’m not supposed to know the reason. Trust me, I know it’s frustrating to feel like those struggles will never end. Maybe that’s just the way that it’s going to be. I’ve found my answer to those kinds of questions in prayer.

Recently, I was reminded of Pslams 119:105 “Your word will be a lamp unto my feet and light into my path.”

It’s not up to me when GOD moves, but once he moves and directs you down your next path, do not wait; move immediately. Even if GOD doesn’t remove that mountain from your life, it’s going to be okay. GOD hasn’t forgotten your prayers. He just knows that those mountains didn’t need to be moved. GOD knows what’s best for you when you don’t. Trust in him.

This week, we finished our most recent custom project which is this gorgeous

It was an incredible build and we felt so blessed to be commissioned to build it!

Hello Everyone! We hope y’all have had a great start to your week!

Something we have had on our minds is peace. Right now, the world and life is filled with such turmoil, deceit, and uncertainty. It can be extremely difficult to determine what is right or wrong or what should be the next course of action on your own. The thing is, even though God is merciful and just and loving, God absolutely will give you more than you can handle. He will let things overwhelm you to the point of breaking. It’s not because he doesn’t care for you, but it’s to show that you can’t do it on your own. “When our strength is failing under crushing burdens, the answer is not within. God gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak” Isaiah 40:29

Pray for peace and solace in your heart. God is with you. God loves you.

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Hello Everyone!

Today is the day! It’s time to finally reveal a project we’ve had in the making for several weeks now. We present to you our cutting boards! Four layouts all hand made from a mixture of cherry, walnut, and maple woods. The boards are 12” wide x 18” long x 1” thick. All boards are $60. With these boards, as with any good kitchen tool, regular upkeep is necessary to ensure the longevity of the product. We recommend you wax the boards once a month with food grade cutting board wax. This will ensure that boards stay hydrophobic and will help deter excess knife marks. Don’t be alarmed if you see knife marks on your board after using them. That’s naturally going to happen when you’re using a knife to cut something on a surface. Our wax of choice is Walrus Oil: Wood Wax. The boards were finished with a food grade oil and wax containing bees wax and coconut oil.

Happy Saturday everyone!

This has been a very busy and productive week for us! We put the finishing touches on the four styles of cutting boards we built and installed the custom ink rack for Kevin Dixon (Kevin D Tattoos) a fantastic tattoo artist in Macon, Ga. He’s also the owner of Tooth & Nail Tattoo Parlor located on Cherry Street. Here are some pictures of the ink rack installed. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The cutting board product photos are in the works now and we can’t wait to show you all!

Since today is the first day of College football, we hope and pray that all of y’all will stay safe, but enjoy yourselves! Go Dawgs!

Hello everyone! We hope you’ve all had a great week!

We’ve got a big announcement to make!!

Diamondback Custom Woodworks has now partnered with 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 & 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 out of Rhine, Georgia, which, is operated by master builder Cecil Peterson and grandfather to one of the co-owners(Corey Clements) of Diamondback Custom Woodworks.

Swings & Things is well-known for making high quality porch furniture. The furniture is all made from pressure treated lumber. Being made from treated lumber means that’s it will last for a long time outside due to the wood being made resistant to weather and sun bleaching. Here are some pictures of some of the furniture.

The dimensions and prices are as follows.

$245- 6ft long, 18” tall back rest, 18” seat depth.
$235- 5ft long, 18” tall back rest, 18” seat depth
$225- 4ft long, 18” tall back rest, 18” seat depth
Comes ready to hang including the chain.

$175- 39” tall, 20” seat depth, 32” tall back rest, 30” wide

$215- 44” tall, 19” seat depth, 34” back rest, 29” wide

Prices are for raw wood finish, but can be sealed or have an exterior stain or paint finish for additional cost.

Hello everyone! How’s it going? We hope you all have had a great start to your work week!

With all that’s going on in the world right now, sometimes, you may find yourself distracted or wondering where is God in all this. We’re human, we’re not perfect, and our minds are bound to wonder. It is in these moments where its paramount that you slow down, take a few minutes, and try to feel God. He is there. He does love you. We don’t speak for God and we can’t tell you where to find God in your hardships, but we’re absolutely certain that he is there. God will not forsake you. Be strong in your faith.

Happy Friday everyone!

We’ve got a big announcement to make today! We’ve officially begun construction of some beautiful 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀! They’re all hand-made from walnut, cherry, and maple woods. They will all be finished in food-grade mineral oil and food-grade wood wax.

We’re looking to have 4 designs/lay-outs to pick from and all with specific names denoting which board is which. These boards have a juice groove option, which, is perfect for slicing meats. They will also perform just as well with preparing veggies. Keep a look out over the next couple days for pictures of the finished products along with their names and prices!
