Hello, my Sweet, Kind and Generous Friends [Yes, I am buttering you up, lol but I do mean it] 🥰 This past week has been incredibly challenging. Not only has Sweetie’s health taken a tough turn, but we also received a large medical bill that insurance isn’t covering. The combined stress and barometric pressure have caused me to wake up with daily headaches—something I rarely ever experience. 😞
I need your help more than ever. Last week, Mark shared a video update, but many were unable to view it. Because of this, we haven’t reached our goal yet. I would do the Happy Dance if 68 of our friends here were to donate just $18 today 💃💃💃
Imagine Sweetie’s surprise when I show him that, together, we’ve finally crossed that first milestone! 🎉

New updates at in between taking care of Sweetie and keeping this updated.

You should stop by sometime if you are in the area of Vernon, CT. It is in the same plaza where Reins Deli is.

Coming to update my space brings me so much joy! There are over 20 vendors between, vintage clothing, jewelry, antiques, vintage, a lot of Boho and MCM ✨️

We hope that your holidays were Wonderful Ones! We want to thank each of you who reached out to us in some way. We feel so Blessed to have such Amazing Customers, Friends and Family!

Sweetie's 3rd round of Chemo Christmas Week was very, very Challenaging! It was delayed for 2 weeks as he was so weak.

He is scheduled for atleast 1 if not more chemo sessions. Then at some point down the road he will have surgery to remove any cancer that chemo shrunk on the nodules on his lungs.

I had paused the Go Fund Me over the past couple of weeks as I know with the holiday season money feels like it is going out left and right.

**We thought we would stir in some fun and ask that if 100 [we started at 250] of you would like to donate $18.00 or more! I have to say, I would much rather be the one donating versus being on the receiving end of this**

This along with what we received so far will get us to our 1st goal. Some people prefer to mail a check and if that is what you prefer let me know and I will give you our address, thank you.

UPDATE: Hello my friends! As much as we are very blessed in so many ways, this cancer is really taking a toll not only on Sweetie but on myself and our family.

Last weekend I had made brownies for my Sweet Grandson and when I went to the car with my Kn95 mask on, he said "Grandma, I have to keep my distance from you." 😔

With Sweetie's immune system being so weak I have to be careful not to give anything to him.

Also, I originally was planning on going to see my 4 grandkids in SC a couple of months ago but with Sweetie's diagnosis I had to postpone my trip perhaps to sometime next year.

Meanwhile, my granddaughter who will be 14 this month got baptized and I would have wanted to see her do so, I know my son was proudly looking over her.

I just want my Sweetie to feel better instead of having pain in his heart as well other symptoms which some are the cancer itself as well as the chemo but they had to make sure it wasn't something more serious. The doctor postponed his chemo until next week or thereafter depending on what his tests results come back as well as an EKG.

In closing, thank you for all that you do and have done with 'Thinking of You Cards & Messages' as well as bringing food that Sweetie absolutely loved [he has gained 9 lbs, lol] and so much more such as your prayers & donations [Especially our Amazing Customers/Friends, we are so blessed].

I am sharing this with you so that you may reach out to atleast one person, family member or friend and just let them know you are thinking about them. You never know what somebody is going thru and especially with the Holidays upon us 🛷🎄🎁

Thank you, for being here for not only for me but Sweetie too. Also, any heartfelt thoughts and prayers are always welcome. I just adore, appreciate and love each of you. You are Amazing 🥰

Sweetie, my rock and best friend, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. This news shattered my heart, especially after having gone thru this with my son and brother and to which neither is alive.

He started his first chemo session with immunotherapy, and we have a long road ahead. They are hoping to do surgery down the road.

Our business, Aunt Millie's Attic will have to take a backseat for now as we focus on his health but we definitely want to be back in the Saddle if you will, as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, medical bills are piling up, as the insurance isn’t covering everything, not to mention what the Business normally covered won't be there.
