Philip Graveson, a New Zealand native, now located in Southwest Colorado, is a 4th generation craftsman. Philip carries on a family tradition of woodworking and metal craft skills handed down by his father a noted New Zealand builder, grandfather a tool & die maker, and great grandfather a skilled church builder in northern England. Philip has earned his master craftsman distinction in metal work
after 10 years of study and apprenticeship in welding and fabrication. Philip also taught woodworking and design technology for 12 years at one of New Zealand’s finest private schools. Now, as proprietor of Graveson Wood & Metal Works, Philip’s passion is employing both mediums of wood and metal to create original one of a kind designs for his clients with a focus on exceptional execution.
