I love a good furniture flip! 🙌

This Henry Link wicker dresser is a perfect example of why I never pass up quality vintage furniture. I can usually find pieces like this for around $100, spend just 1–2 hours giving them a fresh new look, and they often sell for around $600 in our area! 🤯

A little paint, updated details, and some vision can completely transform a dated piece into something buyers can't wait to bring home.

$75 → $675. Let me walk you through it.

Started with a degreaser — non-negotiable on any thrifted piece. Then sanded with 150, followed by 180 to remove the old finish.

From there: a beige wash. 1 part paint, 2 parts water. Keep it thin, keep it buildable.

Then came the warmth — a brown glaze layered over the wash. That’s where the depth happens. That’s the difference between “painted dresser” and “collected antique.”

Sealed everything with wax, then used a mold to add some custom accents.
$600 profit. Not bad for a weekend.

From $40 disaster to a $2,000-looking Anthropologie dupe 😍✨

You would NEVER believe what this dresser looked like when I found it… covered in dirt, spider eggs 🕷️, and I’m pretty sure there was p*e soaked into the bottom 🤢. But I saw the potential.

We deep cleaned everything, cut off the damaged bottom, painted all the trim, and then the REAL magic happened 👏 — I used the gorgeous p*el-and-stick wall covering from Artscape to completely transform it into this high-end statement piece.

Now it looks like something straight out of Anthropologie for a fraction of the price. This is why I love furniture flipping — giving forgotten pieces a whole new life 🖤
