Please understand, I do not guarantee a date of completion on large, custom designed, and detailed commissions. This is simply due to the fact that I have a full time job and a family. So, I put limited hours a day, week, month or year in the shop. Most projects are completed within a reasonable amount of time, but occasionally unforseen circumstances (work or family illness/injury)can

cause a project to take longer. But, I guarantee you will love the end design. An heirloom piece that will last for generations. I also provide an all inclusive lifetime warranty on all my custom furniture. This means, I will repair any damage no matter the cause for the cost of shipping, travel and/or material cost. I know I'm slow with my projects. But,like I tell everyone that hires me. I have a wife and son, I work full time, only able to put an hour or two in at a time and I live in an apartment and no longer have a shop. So it takes 2 hours just to set up and square up all my stationary power tool's that I dolly down stairs every time I work. Not to mention I have to put them away every time I use them. That being said I always tell the customer, there is no guaranteed date of completion.
Been working on the aquarium stand for about a year. So I thought I would post an update.
Custom made molding, will never find anorher piece like this.

So this is my new shed/shop. Should be fun figuring out how to arrange and work out of this 8 x 16 shed.

Here's what has to go in.

Delta 10" Contractors TS
Delta 14" Band saw
40" lathe
Craftsman 6 1/8" Jointer
Rigid 13" Planer
Porter Cable 10" Drill press
Rigid 12" Miter saw

What do you think, will it all fit in a usable manner?

A Little About Me

My name is Brad Barnett, I’m a server support technician during the week, but wood working is my passion. I am the owner, designer and finish carpenter. I design and build all pieces, to ensure quality meets my expectations. All custom pieces are built in Rowlett, TX using the best materials and a blend of power tools and hand tools.

I started Brad’s Custom Wood Work with one thing in mind: Building custom pieces for those who can’t. About 10 Years ago my neighbor knew I was a wood worker and asked me one day if I could build a custom piece to fit in the kitchen breakfast nook. The next few projects were for my co-workers and ranged from Standing Desks to 16th century reproduction piece.

So I decided with my wife’s persistent encouragement to develop Brad’s Custom Wood Work with one goal “Bringing Your Ideas To Life”. With this philosophy I began to build custom pieces for those who can’t build furniture, don’t have anywhere to build furniture or can’t find the piece they are looking for.
