k story on how this all began...this started out as a hobby. I loved playing around with different techniques and such, it was something I truly enjoyed doing even as a kid. As time went on my work began to cycle through the town and my passion for painting grew as well as my client base. My priority has ALWAYS been a happy customer & I think because of that word of mouth continues to grow and has afforded me the opportunity to do what I love which is painting & creating beautiful pieces! We refinish those beloved older pieces that may be dated but have such potential and we bring the life back into these older pieces. We also refinish kitchen and bathroom cabinetry as well as build custom furniture such as farmhouse tables, coffee tables, entertainment centers and so on. They are typically 25-35% and the balance is paid upon completion. All deposits are non-refundable. A deposit is meant to cover the cost of materials as well as secure a spot on my calendar with me. Timeline: Any timeline given is an approximation due to events that are beyond my control. Unfortunately, things come up that will delay our timelines such as inclement weather or unforeseen issues like bleeding, additional work needed etc. I try my best to stay on schedule however I don't want to compromise the quality of work because something like the weather has delayed our planned completion date. Pricing: A price given over the phone with a photo is an estimate. Most often than not I stay within those estimates given, however photos can be deceiving sometimes and/or unforeseen issues can array that were not discussed prior to my pricing that may cause a change in the estimate. For example: If bleeding occurs this is an unforeseen issue and additional work is required therefore that will reflect in the pricing. I will reach out if something like this occurs. Rush Orders: I always have a waiting list so if you are crunched for time, I recommend sending in your deposit ASAP so you can secure my next available opening because my times fill up very fast. Delivery: We offer delivery service to surrounding areas for a fee, this varies depending on location. Please contact me for pricing. Storage: I have limited space in my workshop & so once a piece is done if it's not picked up in an appropriate timeframe (upon my discretion, depending on the size of the piece) I have the right to charge for storage. Typically, storage is 10%. If it's not on my page that doesn't mean, we can't do it! I cannot tell you how many orders we have had from someone sending a photo and asking us to replicate that for them. Send me a photo and we'll take it from there. :)
As far as the process goes, I walk my clients through everything! I want to make sure we get everything just right. It's very important to me that it comes out exactly as you have envisioned, so I am very thorough with the tiniest of details.
