Good evening! We are steadily getting settled in Alabama! We have added a fence, shredded or cut down a few hundred trees, poured about 16 yards of concrete for our driveway, spread 23,000 pounds of gravel, changed out a vanity, and other improvement projects. The trees were so thick, none were getting sun.

James has just about completed a cabin on our property and his shop is structurally complete and wired but a complete wreck because of all of the other projects going on. Here are a few pics from our new home!

We are working some orders and hope to be up and running at full strength very soon.

Good morning! I hope everyone is warm and well! We woke up with a frozen pipe somewhere so we will be busy making sure nothing ruptured once we begin to thaw. It’s not supposed to get above freezing until this afternoon though.

A lot of changes since we last posted, we apologize for the delay.

We have sold our property in Texas and bought a small house outside of Gadsden, Alabama. Going from 2,800 sq ft house and 1,200 sq ft shop to a 1,000 sq ft house and 450 sq ft shop presents a lot of challenges. It’s really been a work in progress to make it how we need or want it and James has been working almost non-stop - other than taking some time to deer hunt. So far we have poured over 30 yards of concrete for a driveway / deck / parking, built an outside entertaining area, spread six tons of gravel, built a workshop, started our fence, and started a parking structure, changed out bathroom vanities, got power ran to the shop, and removed 20+ trees that were too close to the house or in bad shape..

It looks like we are about 30 days away from getting the shop fully operational but are doing smaller orders as our equipment is put in place.

James has been sourcing wood suppliers and working on building those relationships to bring quality and value to our customers.

We will have the same capabilities as we have had in the past, just a smaller footprint. We will keep you posted and will be up and running full speed again. Check out our pics!

Good evening, we hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. Just wanted to drop a post to let you know we are still here! James had to travel this past week and was getting odds and ends complete this weekend so we can move resin production out of our home office and into our game house. This was our grandkids game house but because they haven’t been hanging out in it, we are repossessing (repurposing) it.

Travel again this coming week but back at’em very soon.

If you need anything, please reach out. We have wrapped up current orders and are beginning to take more!

Have a great week and God Bless!

Handles arrived and have been installed! This “We The People” 12x18 board is officially complete and will be heading to Florida this week. In summary, Olive wood (about 200+ years old), graphite grey resin, scarlet red, marbler’s blue, bright white resins…. With a coat of clear to protect it all!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the kind comments, shares, likes, and loves!

I started this journey building tables, floating shelves, and other larger items. As I began growing within this space, my FB page began to bloom - going from a few followers that were mostly friends and family to over 1,200 followers today!

I can promise you, I am my worst critic. I want everything I build to be something you or anyone else is proud to display. I want your friends and family to love it and ask about it!

I always use real wood and I produce custom items with your choice wood, colors and stains. I may not beat big box stores in pricing but I never use pressed wood or particle board! You are hard pressed to find real wood at any furniture store now a days and if you do, it is 5x the cost.

Again, Thank you for your support on this journey!

Sincerely,
James at 2One1Eight WoodWorkz
