Our cups are full as we wrap up an incredible State Convention. We are beyond excited to share that Dolores FFA was recognized as a Superior Chapter and named a finalist for Most Improved Chapter in the State!

These awards represent countless hours of hard work, students stepping outside their comfort zones, supportive families, community members who believe in our program, and young people willing to take a chance on themselves.

To say I am proud would be an understatement. Watching this chapter continue to grow, take on new challenges, and create opportunities for students is what it's all about.

Thank you to everyone who supports these students and this chapter. These accomplishments belong to all of us. The future is bright for Dolores HS & MS FFA! πŸ’›πŸ’™

While these two were able to attend State Convention and walk across the stage to receive their degrees, we are incredibly proud of all four members earning their State Degree this year.
This achievement represents years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to their SAE and FFA journey. Congratulations to all four recipients, we are proud of everything you have accomplished! πŸŽ‰πŸŒŸ

Today the Dolores Middle School FFA got their official charter on stage at the Colorado State Convention!

We are excited to end this year on a high and for what is next.

These four 8th students plus four 8th students at home are what made this chapter not only possible but start the steps to grow and succeeded.

So thank you Lexi Simmons, Lexy Lewis, Easton Goodall, Riegan Hofmann, Gabby Hollen, Hunter Sterdevant, Loralei Rantz and Leif Rowan for giving it your all and taking a chance to start your FFA journey this year.

This morning, Mikayla Eaton competed in the Employment Skills LDE! πŸ’™πŸ’›
She is feeling good about her performance, and we are so proud of the way she represented Dolores FFA.
We will find out this afternoon if she advances to the finals, with awards being announced during Session 4.

Congrats to the Ag Communications Team for earning a Bronze Team Rating at State Convention! πŸ₯‰πŸ’™πŸ’›
This team took a chance on trying something new, stepped outside their comfort zones, and grew in so many ways throughout the process. They learned new skills, challenged themselves, and represented Dolores FFA well.
While only one team member got to walk across the stage to accept the award, this accomplishment belongs to all four of them.
They all worked hard and earned this recognition together.

We had a great Day 2 at State Convention!

Today our middle school and high school delegates checked in and got to work on their committee assignments.

⭐ Lorelai is serving on the Recruitment Committee
⭐ Hailey and Gabby are serving on the Finance Committee
⭐️Jocelyn is serving on the POA Committee

They are doing a fantastic job representing our chapter!

These smiling faces are ready for Session 1 and anxiously awaiting the Ag Communications results. We are so proud of them and all they are accomplishing this week.

We hit the ground running at State Convention!

Please help us wish our Ag Communications Team the best of luck as they compete today! This contest has recently been brought back to Colorado, and these students took a chance on trying something new, stepping outside their comfort zones, and learning valuable new skills along the way.
