Geez ~ haven't posted anything since last February? Obviously I work in a seasonal business~will post some pics of the season soon~hopefully I'll get to it before next February! Almost done with cleanups~Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I'ved Loved A Garden

I’ve loved a garden
It beckons me now
As I sit in the window
Lost in the dream of
A time when I toiled
Among the rich soil
Among the busy bees
Smelling the sweet nectar
Holding the fullest blossom
The weight of it, yet the delicacy
Tugging against the reluctant w**d
Feeling the guilt as I knew
That it too only wanted
To be among the beauty

Now that we've passed Memorial Day and are fairly safe from frost, we're finishing up annual plantings and container gardens. Those new plantings will be vulnerable to the intense heat coming our way. Don't forget to water them daily 'til we get through the 90's!
