MN state Fair is DONE! This is my home fair. I have attended every year for the last 25 and worked it the last 16. I don’t have a caricaturing slot at this one, fingers always crossed for the next year, but I am the “cow Artist in Residence at the Moo Booth in the cattle barn. I paint new signs live each year during the fair, Model A, my oldest is inside milking cows. Model B, my youngest and her little come visit often. I love fairs. They have their own magic. Next up is South Carolina with a stop at the local corn maze and King Richard’s Faire in MA.

Currently working the WI state fair so why not draw up a Wisconsin’s I follow.

Yesterday we did our first Book Fair! It was awesome. I had two of my Facepainters from Party_artists doing facepainting, I handled the caricaturing, and we merch. We were able to sell our own book themed designs AND did some caricaturing on journals.

Done. Well as close as we could get. Was there more we could do with extra time? Sure. BUT this was a first time we had the big block of 8x8x8 and only our second time snow sculpting in competition. So we did good and I’m proud of what we made.
