Our Story...

We started our venture into Annie Sloan painting when we discovered several interesting pieces of old furniture being made to look unique when painted and distressed. We thought, "lets try it", and we loved the look! We started with large projects, a buffet, a 6 piece bedroom suite, and a large kitchen table and hutch set. We looked back at the pieces when they were finished, and realized that we wanted this to be more. After exploring several auctions, looking at numerous paint colors, and many finishes, we decided that our hobby was growing bigger by the day. A few brainstorming talks later, our Nana and Granddaughter team set out to open, The Flying Heron.
