**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**
We are in immediate need of volunteers willing to do food pickups for our food pantry! We are looking for reliable individuals who can commit to spending 1-2 hours, one or more times per month picking up food from local businesses and delivering it to our food pantry. It’s not rocket science, but it takes a reliable vehicle and the ability to pick up boxes weighing up to 30lbs. Training will be provided. Have you heard about the Fourty Yards To Feed The Community food drive yet? is sponsoring a food drive and their goal is to fill a 40-Yard container full of food! That’s equivalent to about 23,000 lbs, which will help us provide about 19,000 meals to families in our community! Did you know that three local pantries have all joined forces to become part of The Agape Center NRV? The Giving Tree Food Pantry, Spiritual Roots Food Pantry, and NRV Diaper Pantry are now working together to serve our community! There are many more services to come in the future, including clothing, household items, car care, and more! All of this will serve to invite people to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ!

At the heart of the Agape Center, is a Christ-centered mentoring relationship with each person we serve. This morning we had our first of many mentor trainings to prepare to better serve people in the NRV. We want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to and Jared Via who are leading the mentoring ministry of , Jan Hogle of the Agape Center Moneta who leads their mentoring ministry, and of who leads their mentoring ministry!
