We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend the past couple of days at the American Marketing Association Leadership Labs Conference…an energizing experience filled with connection, perspective, and forward-thinking ideas.
A special thank you to Rishad Tobaccowala for sharing insights that challenged and inspired us far beyond the scope of marketing.
Rather than keep these ideas to ourselves, we’re excited to share a few key takeaways with our Northeast Wisconsin American Marketing Association community:
Lift others up
Investing in people always compounds. The most impactful networks are built on genuine support.
Choose optimism about the future
Progress is real…across inclusion, health, creativity, and culture. Taking the long view changes everything.
Be known for more than your title
Your influence should extend beyond your role…through your values, voice, and impact.
Generosity is a strategy
Giving your time, knowledge, and energy isn’t just meaningful…it’s powerful.
Technology amplifies humanity
From the earliest innovations to today’s advancements, progress has always been about connection and momentum.
Commit to excellence
Build a culture that prioritizes excellence across product, service, talent, and financial performance.
Companies don’t transform, people do
Real change starts with individuals. Strong, positive, and capable teams drive meaningful transformation.
We also walked away with a renewed perspective on leadership: the best leaders are continuously learning, evolving, and showing up with integrity, empathy, and clarity. They communicate reality, inspire growth, and create space for others to thrive.
We are feeling recharged, inspired, and excited to bring this momentum back to our chapter and our members 💙
Thank you again to American Marketing Association and everyone who made this experience so impactful.
