The Yard Sale is in full effect. Early birds got some great stuff, lino kits, paint, scissors. If you're in the Rogers Park area of Chicago stop by for some good prices. This stuff cannot go back into storage!

Craft Social is having a Yard Sale Saturday, August 17, from 9am - 2pm in Rogers Park. Stop by for household items, some small furniture, and TONS of craft supplies. We opened the craft room and craft storage vault and out fell like a million stickers, scrapbook paper, new acrylic craft paint in every color, Mod Podge out the ears, and a multitude of adhesives. Sale also includes kits for projects like glass painting, lino carving and block printing, polymer clay jewelry, sewing kits and more! Many small and large storage containers and bins available too. And we’ll serve you lemonade if you hang around long enough. Stay in the neighborhood for the art and music at the Glenwood Arts Fest (www.glenwoodave.org) starting at noon, but come early to get a good selection.

Just met up with Kristin Roach from CraftLeftovers.com for dinner last night and then she delivered her book, Mend It Better, to my house this afternoon. Awesome conversations with Kristin, Jill and Caitlin K. (all-time Craft Social attender) about making stuff, and animals, and just life. Thanks for a great 24 hours of random internet connecting in real life, girls!
