themed bench rebuild. After the old wood had rotted away, the owner of this sentimental bench wanted to give it new life. We used ash hardwood for the wood portion, and Latitude exterior paint to coat and ensure it can be used for many years to come.

I'm refurbishing a cast iron and ash wood bench. Ash's strength and grain pattern make it perfect. Although it'll be indoors, I'm using exterior paint to ensure longevity.

My first tension hoop attempt using steel flat bar and screws. The screws need to be replaced with rivets(that’s what I had on hand), and in the future I’d like to weld instead, for a cleaner look. I’m happy with the shape though, and was able to achieve a uniform circle using only a plywood form to bend it with. Next I’ll need to mark and cut a groove for the neck and tension hooks.

Built a custom cabinet with drawers to fit in place of the old dishwasher. Repainted the rest of the cabinets as well. The homeowner was having new floor tile installed and new appliances after(not pictured)
