IM BACK!! Hey guys! I sure have missed all of my DIY friends over here in the DIY world! But I took a break to decided if I should quit this account and go back to my account where I started DIY or do two accounts. For right now I’m going to do both accounts as they both bring me joy!

I left this account after being let go from as a partner. I was so excited to partner with them, and I loved there tools. However they did NOT communicate well with me about what they wanted until they let me go.
If you have never partnered with a company or brand before, I think it’s important I tell you the following so you can learn from my mistakes.

Reasons why they let me go...
1. I had my kids in my videos.
2. I said “these tools are for everyone” but what I meant was they were “easy to use”. They said,”the tools ARE NOT for everyone only 18 years and older”.
3. I was authentic to the core, which is who I am. I did a live, where I opened a tool and the directions were absolutely awful! So I said that because they told me to be honest! (What they meant was only tell them the problems not my followers) But you guys THAT’S NOT ME!!
4. They didn’t want videos of how I used the tool but more of a finished project with the tool.
5. My photos needed work( but didn’t explain how).
6. I answered questions in forum (I thought I was being helpful) I said,”just contact Hart they will take care of your problem or tool they are a good company” (Was to NEVER answe others questions on IG
7. Don’t EVER ask a how they write to companies about doing paid partnerships!!! I wrote to because I love her and she talks about brands and working with them, and YOU DON’T KNOW unless you ask! Another reason I want to go to to learn from the master. Again NO ONE talks about this open and authentically, except for Suzy. Last Christmas or the one before she talked about how she made $32,000 a month in ads (crazy right?) See why I’d love to do things like that with companies I love. She took a couple months of ad money and donated it to so many families at the holidays then others started doing it!

Have you tried color block painting yet? I won’t lie, I’m obsessed and I love these colors. I am choosing joy and love in every way I can in our home, even when my kids are driving me bonkers! Lol 😂 I love the half yellow circle 🟡

Happy 4th of July! We had a chill day with my friend Jen and her two daughters and then our neighbor joined us for s’mores to end the night! Wonderful day!

Who was following me last year when I built these famous floating shelves? Trick question because I had actually filming me building these shelves over on my . That’s is where I had been DIYing for a couple of years until I decided to start this DIY account.

I am thinking about merging these two accounts before they grow to BIG that you can’t merge. says you can’t have 5 niches at one time.
She says,to pretend your IG IS like a cone and the top part is one niche. Grow that niche until it’s big then branch out to two niches and so on. What niche do you consider yourself to be a part of?

Good Morning ☀️ friends! Let’s be real for a minute, how many of you plan out your life and projects? How many of you are procrastinators like myself? As one of my college students said to me one day,”Mrs Stinson your a great Professor, I have learned a lot and have a blast in your class but you seem like you fly by the seat of your pants half the time”! Me: “lol sshhhhh”!
Well thats what I do with my DIY projects for sure! I need stuff to move me, I’m not just throwing anything on my walls or in our rooms.
I have learned how to live more intentionally from my friend Ashley at and yes she’s a friend who follows my page! She has an amazing soul and a beautiful heart! Do you ever feel like your home changes and grows as you grown and evolve? Are you a person who loves personal growth and believes you can be a better version of yourself everyday?
I am! I am obsessed with personal growth, positivity and being a better human daily. With my growth comes changes in my home decor and style as well. Not much because I love the modern bohemian style but I’m definitely adding color to our home these days.

Happy of happiest Father’s Day to the guy I get to call my husband! He may be our kids DAD, but he’s my best friend and my side kick in the crazy and unexpected life we are living in.
I may not have had the best dad but my husband did and now he is an amazing dad, playing hide and seek, wrestling with them, letting BIG kids climb on his shoulders, helps do middle school math and social studies. Who knew he would be network engineer by day and middle school teacher by night? Lol 😂

I am still here, I’m just quieter and enjoying the moment. Do you ever take a step back on here to just observe what is being placed in front of you on IG? Or are you constantly running’s around racing to get one DIY project done, photographed, edited and uploaded to IG.
Then it’s on to the next one because you feel you must keep going ...to get more likes, more comments and yes more followers?
