A beautiful antique cedar chest given a romantic French Country update while preserving the warmth and character of its original wood.

This lovely chest has been refinished in Fusion Mineral Paint’s Academia Pear, a soft, muted green that pairs beautifully with the rich dark-stained wood top and exposed turned legs. Subtle aging and highlighting bring out the decorative details and scalloped apron, while the original warm cedar interior has been left natural.

Open the lid to reveal generous storage—perfect for quilts, blankets, linens, bedding, seasonal textiles, or keepsakes. It would be gorgeous at the foot of a bed, beneath a window, in an entryway, or as a statement storage piece in a French Country or cottage-style home.

This beautiful antique dresser has been thoughtfully refinished to celebrate its age, character, and wonderfully ornate details.

Finished in a soft, muted sage green, the dresser features an elegant dark wood top and layers of warm antique-gold highlighting that bring the intricate floral detailing across the drawer fronts to life. The mix of aged green, rich wood, and gold gives this piece a wonderfully romantic French Country / Old World European feel.

The dresser offers four spacious drawers—two smaller upper drawers and two generous full-width drawers below—providing plenty of functional storage while still making a statement in the room.

This beautiful vintage cabinet has been refinished in a charming French Country / shabby chic style, combining warm natural wood with softly distressed creamy white details. The contrast highlights all of the gorgeous architectural molding and gives the piece that collected-over-time European cottage feel.

The tags on the back identify Elkin Furniture Company, along with another tag that appears to read Goodman & Lester Inc., Franklin, Indiana.
