⬆️ He really does…he picks up his pen and without plans just puts it down on the paper and goes to work. There’s some healthy levels of envy from his daddy for sure 🤣

“My Son Doodles Without Worries!” has some acrylic paints, micron pens, pastel and charcoals involved. I took a doodle my son snuck into a pad and I in turn added to it. The crown represents the almighty skill of his to not think twice before creating…artists know how valuable that is. S**t, in one form or another we can all relate and wish we wouldn’t be affected by intrusive thoughts when it comes to the outside world. So this a nod to Eviahn for the inspiration he is! 👑

I was able to express my creative language on this project and am forever grateful. Another one of those “do your thing” pieces where I can fully dive in and The Ledbetter’s now have a unique set of doors for their primary bedroom that creates a statement around an organic feel & vibe. And no you’re not trippin’, these “barn doors” have fully concealed hardware that open and close like your more traditional style doors without the extra noise. The carved design was inspired by Spaniard style architecture and the flow of that booming culture 🔥

My woodworking experience has provided an outlet for me to lose myself in the craft and in return, a sense of therapeutical freedom I am gifted with. It’s unexplainable. That said, I am in a current space where my process is asking for some slight changes. Some of my initial mediums are wanting to resurface…some pivoting is cultivating…change is and will be the inevitable. A step in MY DIRECTION has always been the plan. More artsy s**t is to come! 🫶🏽
