I love it when I am given the opportunity to convert a ”non standard” piece of furniture. I was able to convert this vintage 1920s “Columbia Grafonola” for my friend, Kathleen Grinberg-Funes.
The Renoir image “Dance at Bougival” was the perfect choice for this piece. You can hear the music playing as they twirl around the floor.
I used a “hushed” navy blue for the body, with a hint of gold dust on the feet. Thank you, Kathleen, for these excellent choices.

The transformation of a furniture project is always so rewarding, but none as rewarding as this cocktail table. I love the way the ebony finish brought out the subtle wood grain, highlighted the great details of the legs and apron, and provided the perfect background for this incredible image!

As with your children, you’re not supposed to have favorites in the furniture rehab biz….
However, this one has really made it to the top of my list. This chest/buffet is the perfect size for so many uses. I love this Alfred Munnings print, I’m “mad” for this warm red, and the black hardware in contrast; add these sumptuous deep drawers and it gets the 🏆🥇!
