FUN FACT FRIDAY: Brett is not a huge fan of being on camera, but he’s starting to get a little more comfortable with it with gentle encouragement!

I’m sure he’s not the only one…

I know I’m right there with him. But let’s face it…

It’s something you just kind of have to get over if you want to create content that helps build connections and gets you noticed in this day and age - Especially as a small business.

This is one of the most special designs we have designed and created, and I wanted to share the story with you…

Katrina, who was our giveaway winner from a couple weeks ago had asked if we could do a design with one of her foster cats.
So she sent a photo of one of her fosters over and I created this design to match as closely as I possibly could.

When I sent the design back to her, she told me it had brought tears to her eyes and that she was so happy with how it turned out…

And that’s when she told me her sweet foster kitty, Bowie’s, story.
Quick fun fact about his name - she named him Bowie after David Bowie since he has two different colored eyes. (Swipe to see his photo. He’s just beautiful.)

Anyways, she had built a very strong connection with Bowie having cared for him since he was a kitten, and was going to foster fail (adopt) him.
But sadly he passed away after only 8 months.

Bowie and his 3 siblings all were born with a very rare disease that made them very sick, and sadly they all passed within a year of life. They had all fought so hard and needless to say, Katrina was heartbroken.

She is doing some amazing work helping so many fur babies in need. I can only imagine how hard that work can be, especially when it comes to the sick animals like Bowie and his siblings.

We are so glad we were able to create this special piece to give Katrina some joy each time she looks at it.

Special thanks to Katrina for sharing this story with us and for allowing us to create this beautiful piece for her. We know she will cherish it for many years to come! ❤️
