Wooden Revolutions, LLC is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. Their small business specializes in Antique Barn Wood. They deconstruct old barns to rescue the virgin timber that early American settlers used in building this country. The lumber is processed into usable material to be sold or used in custom building applications. Fireplace Mantels, Counter and Island Tops, Farm Tables and

Accent Walls are some of the most popular requests. Custom Furniture is finished using a hand rub oil technique and a secret mixture of sealant to highlight the beauty of the wood grain and preserve the unique characteristics of antique lumber. Wooden Revolutions has also built cabins and tagged entire barn frames that became wonderful homes for a few lucky families. Barn Lumber is a unique and valuable building material. The process that the material must go through to become a sellable product could not be replicated within one lifetime. Air Dried Virgin Timber is a rare resource and luxury building material. We have recently completed the design of several new mantels, including a white oak log face crafted from an 1850s log cabin beam and a hand-hewn poplar beam from a barn built in the 1870s. It is gratifying to restore and repurpose these historic beams, giving them new life in your home or office. This weekend could've quite possibly been the worst weather I've ever demoed a barn in... you don't know hot until you've hand pulled nails from a ladder on a metal sided building, 90 plus degrees with a heat index of 6 billion. Luckily everything went just as planned.

The siding we pulled from this building was totally worth it though!

Check out this beautiful red elm log cabin mantel. For a 4'6" mantel it has more character than mantel twice the size. Big things going on in this small package, short but thick mantel. The color and texture is amazing! Doesn't get much better, wish I had 100 more like it, but that's the beauty no 2 are alike. I was able to do this mantel along with a beautiful hand hewn poplar with incredible corbels. It's been a great week finishing these two mantel, snowed in with the kids, 5 dogs, & 11 new beautiful blue and blue merle puppies.....can't wait to start on a few more, to get the hell outta here!!LOL!

This beautiful hand hewn poplar is a new favorite of mine. This came from a log cabin we took down. Using the dove tails for corbels is something we've done before but this really turned out wonderful. It's a another unique look you'll only find here, just like our custom tables with hand hewn edges. Thanks to everyone who bought a mantel this year and last that made 2020-21 our best ever for mantel sales. Can't wait to do more like this!

Hewn fireplace mantel sent by happy customer. It was a tiny piece but exactly what the client was looking for. It was only 3" thick 6.5" deep, 5' long it was only brushed/cleaned on all sides, and oiled, NO SANDING! Made it a very affordable option. Only $300!
