When our eyes see something that is well-designed, our body literally releases endorphins. Humans have an emotional connection with good design. If you want to connect with your audience positively, you will want to invest in a good designer. That is where I come in! My name is Mackenzie, and I am the designer behind Carlisle Concepts. I consider myself a creative in practice. This April I am grad
uating from Brigham Young University in Technology & Engineering Education. It was in this major that I was given the chance to experiment with graphic design, animation, web design, photography, film, woodworking, robotics, electronics, and more. And now, I am teaching photography and digital media to high school students. I chose to call my business Carlisle Concepts, because that is just what it is; concepts… ideas… creative experiments. My major taught me to learn on my own; to find my passion and develop it more on my own time. When I first discovered that my passion lies in graphic design, I never considered growing it into something bigger. But now I see that there is a great need for design– everywhere. Good design makes you feel good. Good design sells. So whether you want to get people to attend your wedding or you want them to purchase your product, remember: do NOT dismiss design. Marketing yourself well is one of the most important things you can do in your lifetime. Good design is about getting people to notice you, to like you, and to trust you, so they will attend your event or purchase your product. My goal at Carlisle Concepts is to market your business or event in the best way possible by creating a design that gives your business or organization identity and effectively communicates your purpose and your character to your audience. So check out my designs and see if Carlisle Concepts is the right fit for you.
