I’ve been in transition for quite some time and am finally ready to transition from Furniture to Fashion!

I’ll now be sharing my affordable fashion finds from Amazon and Walmart. My focus will be feeling fabulous and stylish while still being comfortable.

I love feeling put together and helping other women do the same. At 52, style and feeling great is still important to me and I love sharing my affordable finds.

We move so fast that we forget what it feels like to just stop. No notifications, no to do list, no noise. Just you and a quiet moment.

Pouring tea has become one of my favorite ways to slow my mind down. There is something about the warmth, the ritual, the simple act of being present that reminds me that peace is always available.

You just have to choose it. Start small. A cup of tea, a few deep breaths, five minutes with no agenda. Your mind will thank you.

It was such a wonderful morning with my husband and my 2 boys.

They reluctantly went with us to the Farmer’s Market in Carrboro but the donuts helped.

We strolled the market and I found some amazing honey by , farm fresh eggs and stunning flowers for Mother’s Day!

It was a nice slow morning and such a special time talking with my son’s at for lunch in downtown Chapel Hill.

I really hope you’ve all had a lovely Saturday morning! What are you up to?

Found this beautiful oil painting in a gold frame today for only $10 at Goodwill. I can’t wait to style in the my old son’s bedroom I am redesigning.
