A Hot Dog Social to raise funds for our food ministries was held on June 21. The event was held on the beautiful grounds of Grace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, GA. The event featured a show by Ken Panse, The Reptile Wrangler & another batch of Dave's World Famous Fried Dough! Allison Price took home the big prize!

The Community is Invited to a celebration of the Life and Ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 3099 Chapel Hill Rd in Douglasville on Sunday January 20th at 3:00. Together we will celebrate the life, ministry, and legacy of Dr. King as we come together in unity and worship. Our speaker is Dr. Ulysses Burley, a graduate of Morehouse College, Dr. King's alma mater, and a medical doctor who specializes in social justice as it relates to disease. Dr. Buley is a medical researcher at Northwestern University and is a young man who has connected his faith to justice. As an advocate for those who suffer, he compels a regard for the sick remembering that" where there is faith there is justice, and where there justice, there walks Christ."
